Granny’s Crumble

A cocktail that sounds like it’s straight out of a fairy tale, or maybe just your favorite childhood memories, but with a twist that’s strictly for the adults. Let’s get down to business with Balkia, your spirited companion through this delightful concoction.

Here’s how you’ll craft this masterpiece:

Ingredients

  • 3cl Balkia
  • 2cl cinnamon syrup
  • 11cl granny-smith apple juice
  • 2cl lime and yellow juice
  • Cinnamon powder

How to make

  1. Chill Your Glass –  First things first, let’s give this drink a cool foundation. Place your serving glass in the freezer for a few minutes. We want everything about this to scream “refreshing”.
  2. Mix Your Spirits and Juices – In a shaker, pour 3cl of Balkia, and add 2cl of cinnamon syrup for that spicy warmth reminiscent of granny’s kitchen. Follow that with 11cl of granny-smith apple juice – the tartness will balance the sweetness beautifully. Lastly, add 2cl of lime and yellow juice; this will bring a zesty brightness to the ensemble, add ice to the shaker.
  3. Shake It Up – Now, shake it like you’re trying to wake up the spirits of fun and nostalgia. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels cold to the touch.
  4. Strain and Serve – Take your chilled glass out of the freezer. Strain the concoction into the glass to avoid any unwanted ice chips crashing the party.
  5. The Final Touch – Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon powder over the top. This isn’t just for looks; it’s like the magic dust that ties all the flavors together.
  6. Garnish (Optional) – If you’re feeling fancy, garnish with a thin apple slice or a cinnamon stick. It’s all about the presentation.
  7. Enjoy – Sit back, sip, and let “Granny’s Crumble” take you on a journey to a place where every sip is like a bite of a beloved, boozy dessert.
